Entry for May 28, 2007 ~ Thanking the Almighty...

I would like to take this opportunity to say 'thank-you' to Almighty God, and to all the servicemen and women who fight/have fought so bravely for our freedom! flag
Where on earth would we be without them?
In His Almighty mercy and wisdom, God has seen fit to bless our country with the best and greatest quality of living in the history of the world...we enjoy more freedom and blessings here than I believe we even deserve! And those who go to war to preserve it merit our undying loyalty and respect.
We have all the liberties written into our very Constitution; what need have we for anything more?
We have the great God, Who is so good to us! In the words of the Prince of the Archangels himself, St. Michael: 'Who is like God?!?'
How can we ever repay Him?? How do we even try?
Whether or not we agree with the current world situation, there is one thing we can do to make up to Him for all our past sins and offenses...as war is, I believe, a result of our sin...and that is to pray the Most Holy Rosary!
Our Lady proved this at the Battle of Lepanto, in the year 1571. (If anyone doubts my testament, just go to this link: The Rosary @ Lepanto. )
On this Memorial Day, I want to say that I believe with all my heart that we can stop all the fighting and wars, terrorism and all the rest of it...all we have to do is follow Her requests at Fatima!
In this way, we give our honor and thanks to Almighty God for all He has done for us and for our country. Our Lady is the Queen of Peace, and She has proven this in history...Lepanto is but one example!
We can thank the service men and women by praying for them...offering all we have to God, praying the Rosary for peace, lifting our plight above that of the animals and bringing with us those whom we profess to hate, in all their human need for His love and mercy.
This war we fight is against the twisting and turning of Islam and all that this stands for ~ just as it was @ Lepanto. There is no difference...we fight the enemies of our God.
We have the right on our side! All we have to do is prove that we actually believe it!
Why don't we begin today?!?
